Saco Bay Guide Service offers guided Sea Duck
Hunts
from October 1st until mid-January in Saco Bay and Casco
Bay. Our
emphasis is on the entire positive experience of the hunt
and will
do our best to put you on the very best ledges to hunt these
magnificent birds!Hunts are
conducted in
custom designed heavy duty aluminum skiffs and utilize two
guides
and boats per hunt. This assures maximum safety and gives us
the
flexibility to move hunters to put them in the hottest
shooting
spots.
Both guides are licensed and also hold
Masters
Captain's licenses and include over 20 years of experience
gunning
Sea Ducks in these Maine waters which will assure a safe and
productive trip.
The first part of the season the bag
consists
largely of scoters with Eiders becoming more prevalent from
the
first of November. The bag is mostly all Eiders from the
first of
December to the close of the season. |
Location:
We are located only two hours north of Boston
and 1/2 hour from the
Portland Jetport. There are plenty of restaurants and motels
nearby
offering off-season rates.
